DESERT RING

This statement piece with a bold and confident appearance is a handcrafted ring inspired by the feelings of a desert, belonging to our 'Nature' family of rings.  

The ring is available in gold vermeil on sterling silver and is set with a 6mm black spinel.

GEMSTONE

Black Spinel

This opaque gemstone is one of the rarest colours of the spinel family. Spinel occurs in a range of hues, from orange to red and pink, all shades of blue and green and black. A 'symbol of power, victory and new hope’, it is believed to be a protective stone and grounds its wearer. Spinel is an August birthstone, sharing this month with peridot.

VERMEIL

Gold Vermeil is a thick layer of 18 karat gold on sterling silver. The thickness of the gold portion is what really sets vermeil jewellery apart from simple gold plated pieces. The gold layer needs to be at least 2.5 microns to be considered vermeil.

GUARANTEE

All pieces by Morphic London are hallmarked by the Goldsmiths' Company assay office in London. The series of five marks are applied to each piece that means our jewellery pieces have been tested independently and guarantees their precious metal fineness and quality.

Our pieces are made to order and this means that we handcraft your unique piece in our London studio. So please allow 4-6 weeks for the delivery. If your order is made sooner than expected, it will be dispatched immediately and you will be notified.
